We're looking for passionate applicants with previous dance experience, who are eager to learn our CDP curriculum and successfully incorporate it at each site. Whether you specialize in Creative dance, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, African, or Modern dance, we welcome you to apply! Although a degree in dance is not mandatory, we strongly prefer applicants with training in at least one of the aforementioned dance styles.

Job Title: Business Operations Intern
Ly-Ben Dance Alliance: Dancing Towards Diversity Initiative is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Operations Intern to join our team. As a non-profit organization, we are committed to creating job opportunities and promoting diversity and inclusion in the dance world. As a Business Operations Intern, you will work closely with our Operations Manager and assist in the daily operations of the organization. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Assist in managing day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document preparation
Conduct research and analysis to support various projects and initiatives
Assist in organizing and coordinating events, such as workshops and performances
Manage our social media accounts and assist in developing marketing materials
Assist in maintaining our donor database and preparing reports
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in business administration, non-profit management, or a related field
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Familiarity with social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in the dance world
This is an unpaid internship with the potential for academic credit. The internship requires a commitment of 10-15 hours per week and is expected to last for a minimum of three months. At Ubuntu, we will have a vast repertoire that includes Ballet, Jazz, African, Contemporary, Modern, Liturgical Dance, and much more.
